Illamasqua Liquid Metal Cream Eyeshadow Swatches and Review
Illamasqua Pure Pigment Swatches and Review.
I have to say I have fallen in love with these pigments, the amount of glitter you get from these products is amazing .I know at few people haven't heard of Illamasqua but they are starting to become very popular , we have counter in Debenhams and I would say they are on par with Mac, they're products and shade range is amazing . I have swatched four shades and 3 of them I got in the Illamasqua sale for only £5 each, which is amazing value as they are normally £15.50 each . The glitter is really fine and doesn't feel chunky at all, application is really smooth. These pigments can be used with a damp brush which will intensify the colour , which I haven't tried yet but look out for my future tutorials as I will be experimenting with them . The pigments don't have to just be used as eyeshadows they are good as an highlighter for your cheeks and brows, blusher and even add it to your nail polish . I love using these pigments over a base colour as it makes the colour pop and adds so much more definition to the look also with using a base it gives the colour alot more longevity and something for the glitter to stick to. The light really reflects on these products and really does dazzles. The Beguile is the lightest colour I swatched and can be used over any colours as the glitter used in it is multicoloured and will suit any look making it the most versatile . The Zeitgeist is a lovely black with flecks of silver , would really look nice over a smokey eye . The Android is a blueish , charcoal colour with multicolured flecks of glitter and sometimes looks purple, when worn over a blue or purple base the colour really intensifies. The Incite is warm, bronzy, gold colour, for some reason this one goes on more smoothly than the others and packs a lot punch with the colour , I really love this one . If you wanted to start collecting these colours I'd say the Beguile would be the colour to get first as you would get more use with it and can be used on a number of looks. I used Beguile on my plum & gold tutorial , take a look. I purchased my pigments from the Illamasqua website but get your orders in quick because the sale is due to end on the 29/01/2013. I'm sure once you have tried these you won't be dissapointed. Get them bought quick :)

Bling It On Hologram Nails Inc Review Glitter Nails !!
If you like glitter nails then look no further, I bought this nail Kit from Nails Inc called Bling It On Hologram . These kits are so good and easy to use without being messy . The kit consists of 4 bottle , you get two glitters , one nail polish, a top coat and a brush to wipe off the excess glitter. The best thing about this glitter is that it is really fine so doesn't feel really chunky and bumpy on your nails. You get a dipping dish for the glitter too and because the glitters consistency you can pack alot onto the nail. The glitter colours I have are silver and a nice pinky gold with a white polish , you don't have to use the white polish provided , any base colour will do. These nails will add glamour to any look and you can always experiment with the glitter and apply it to different parts of your nail. You can get this pack in alot of different colours and they cost about £20 for a kit , from Debenhams.

How To Do A Winged Eyeliner
I know there are alot of people out there that struggle to do a winged liner .It is one of the hardest to get right but the more you practise the better you will get . I am going to show you a cheat that will help you to confidently apply your liners. There are many products out there you can use , these range from Gel Liners, Liquid Liners, Pen Liners , Cream liners, Felt Liner etc. The main thing is to find a product you are comfortable with . The next thing is that if you are using a brush , make sure you have a good brush to apply the liner, there's so many brushes out there that you can use the main brush I like to use is a fine liner brush , I have pictured it below and I bought it from a website called Crown Brushes . The brush is called a Taklon Liner C250-1 and cost only £1.62. This brush is great for detailing and even better for doing perfect flicks on your eyeliner, I feel I have the most control with this brush and gives me the perfect finish . I am using Maybelline Gel Liner for this tutorial
Step 2: With your chosen liner draw a line from you inner corner right upto the tape, small strokes are better, starting as close to your lashline as possible and building it up gradually .
Step 3 : From the outer corner draw a line following your tape , this is your flick. The length of your flick is totally up to you .
Step 4: From the top of your flick , fill in the line and connect it to your lashline .
Step 5 : Remove the tape and you should be left with a nice neat line and flick.
Step 1 : Get a piece of sellotape , take some of the tackiness off it by rubbing it on the back of your hand or clothes, apply the tape to the outer corner of your eye. you can also keep tape on for when you are applying you eyeshadow it will give you a nice, crisp line and shape.
Step 4: From the top of your flick , fill in the line and connect it to your lashline .
I hope this technique helps you to start wearing you eyeliner with confidence. The main 3 step to liner is to first create the line above the lashline, secondly draw a line for your flick from the outer corner & finally connect the flick to the lashline. Another way to get your straight line without using tape is by placing a card with a straight edge or even using a folded up piece of tissue. Its all about practising xxx

How to do A Smokey Green Eye
This look is to show you another way of doing the smokey eye look using different colours . Before you start be sure to have a dark green eyeshadow and a light green eyeshadow to blend out with.
Step 6: Line the inside of your eyes , I used a black liner but you could use your the green pencil you for the base if you like, I ran some of the black liner under my and softened it slighlty and then ran some of the green eyeshadow over it . Highlight your browbone . Add your mascara and lashes to complete the look .
The key to this look is to make sure you blend out well , keep layering and blending , it may seem at first that the colour isn't moving but keep working at it and persevere at it, and it will. When blending your socket it would be good to use a soft clean fluff brush and keep moveing it back and forward over the socket , this should give you a nice blend without having any harsh lines.

Step 4 : With black pencil line the top lash line .
Step 5 : Blend out the black liner you have applied , just to soften it. Apply abit of black eyeshadow into the outer corner of your eye and keep blending it in with more of the darker green until you get the desired look.
Step 6: Line the inside of your eyes , I used a black liner but you could use your the green pencil you for the base if you like, I ran some of the black liner under my and softened it slighlty and then ran some of the green eyeshadow over it . A Step By Step Guide on How To Do A Gold and Green Eye
I am going to show you how to do Green and Gold eye tutorial . I often use bases in the same colour as the eyeshadow. A base can be anything from a soft pencil, gel liners to a cream eyeshadow. It can be anything you have in that colour, so if you don't have the base that I'm using but have something in a similar colour in different product then feel free to work with that . The main reason for applying a base, is that firstly it will help your eyeshadow to stop creasing and last longer,it's also an easy way for you intensify and layer your eyeshadow up quickly . For this look you will need a dark green eyeshadow and a light green eyeshadow, I used one of my pallettes from ELF Cosmetics which has a few shades of green in it . I'm sure you'd be able to get hold of maybe a trio of colours or take a look at the MUA range as mentioned below, they're so cheap and have a wide range of colours.
Step 3 : Blend both the bases together
Step 6: Line your bottom lash line and your water line and add lashes for that extra drama :)
Step 1: Apply a Gold base all over your lid, I used my Maybelline Colour Tattoo.
Step 2 : Apply a dark green base to the outer corner of your lid. I used my MUA pencil in the colour Forest Green. These pencils are amazing quality, they're really soft and blend so easily. Can you believe that these pencils are available from Superdrugs for £1, yes your heard right a £1 and they even come with a sharpener!!!
Step 4 : Add a dark green over your green base you have applied. I used the pallete shown below , I applied the first two shades over my green base.
Step 5: Using the the two lighter greens blend the green into the lid and blend it out above the crease, try to leave your inner corner free from the green colour as we will be highlighting this area. For the inner corner I used a gold from the L'oreal Infallible range in the shade Goldemine, apply to your inner corner and blend into the green . Another colour you could use for blending the dark green into lid is another £1 bargain MUA , its the MUA eyeshadow in Shade 29.
Step 6: Line the top of your lashes winging it out, I used Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel liner. I also added abit of black eyeshadow to the outer corner and buffed it in to intensify the colour more.
Here is what your finished should look like.
